Hamish, in memory, Bouvier des Flandres

Barry first met Hamish when he was quite young maybe 2, circa 2005.
Hamish was Susanna's dog at the Stables, Adel, Leeds. For many years he could jump over the 5-bar gate.

Many walks over many years, Yorkshire Dales.
On one occasion, outside a Cafe, a big Pyrenean mountain dog appeared from under a table.
Hamish took a double-take, not used to dogs twice his size.
Also walks locally in Adel, by the brook, mostly on Bedquilts, where we often met up with Fergus.
Roz was his walker and our house-sitter when we went away.

Hamish came to PCB, mostly walked at the Oswestry Racecourse, and on our land.
He would often go walkabout and lay on the grass out front of Tony and Avril's house, who then phoned us to fetch him.

As an untrained cattle dog, he would look at Cows, confused.
Never bothered any sheep, the reverse they fancied him when he had his shaggy winter coat.

Just a few days after his 15th birthday, he 'gave up', vets came out, listened to his heart and gave that head shake, so gave him a lethal dose of anaesthetic, we buried him on the land at PCB,
soon followed by Yo-Yo.
